I have been wearing VS Lacie thongs since around 2003! I must have bought over 20 pairs. And I still have most of them, because the quality is really good. So when I decided to get some new ones during the most recent Holiday sale, I got a set of 7 in different colors. Same exact Lacie thong style I have always gotten, same size (small). I'm 5'6 and 124 pounds. Well, I can't get over how disappointed I am. The lace is less soft than my old ones. OK, I can live with that. But every single pair, and I mean every pair, promptly got holes in the lace after only one wear. And the elastic got all stretched out. They look no better than your no-name temu variety. Sadly, I can no longer recommend VS Lacies as a great budget-friendly underwear. The quality just isn't there anymore. I wish I could return them but I have already worn them, and cut the tags off. Money wasted!
